The Taverna Rodaria is one of the oldest restaurants in Georgioupolis
and opened in 1979.
Situated in the middle of the village between village square and mainroad, it
is run by the second generation by Jorgos Kokolakis and his wife Rodaria,
as well as by their oldest son Nikos. Mrs. Kokolaki cares for the well-being
of the guests. Every day she prepares rare Cretan and Greek dishes,
particularly light dishes, in the charcoal oven to suit every palate. Late into
the night the guests enjoy the really kind family atmosphere.
